Simple Steps to Make your own Zbrush Alpha

1 ) Make a square plane, convert it into a polymesh 3d

2) Sculpt your pattern on the plane

3) Resize the document to a square format, e.g 512×512

4) Under alphas, hit “Grabdoc”. It’s now an alpha. You can save it as a texture in your preferred directory.

Alternatively you could make it in 2d in photoshop!
