Djakarta-00 (2014)

We seldom see animation from Indonesia, much less something that can be considered “Indonesian Animation”.

This piece shows us that Indonesian animators do have something strong about their culture and society to communicate with the global audience. Even though the animation quality and editing is lacking, the idea is clear. It is also rare to hear Bahasa Indonesia used in animation.

Hoping to see more from the Southeast Asian region!
